Answer by KLThe bankruptcy not being reported any longer doesn’t cause your scores to increase…it just doesn’t have a negative impact any longer.
To increase your score, you have to re-establish credit lines.

I am 20 and just applied for my first credit card and I got approved. when I got my card it said that my credit score was 650. How is is so high even thought I never had a credit card. I do not have any loans. All I have is a checking account and a couple of CD’s?

I have mortgage of $ 131,000 ($ 1400 monthly) and debt of $ 39,000 ($ 900 monthly) I am unemployed so no income (my fiance pays bills) how do I get out of this? My credit score is 725 so that is good but my fiance’s is not good. I have tried to talk to my mortgage company but no good, really want to consolidate it all and have one lower monthly payment, any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!
