I am in a arm loan and am looking to refinance after 2 years. I heard that refinancing can drop your credit score up to 30 points? Am i better off trying to sell or refinancing if i’m planning on selling after 5 years?

I’m now an adult and was trying to obtain credit only to be rejected because of a bad credit report. I knew something had to be wrong so I got the report. Apparently a surgery I had when I was 16 had an anesthesiologist who went ahead and billed my name because the hospital neglected to give them my moms information as the guarantor. Answer by xvnukervx1really depends on who’s running it. An inquiry from the power or a utility company usually doesent cost you points. However, Bank inquiries etc will.
Reason being: If theres 10 bank inquiries on your credit and no one is giving you a loan, future banks that look at your credit may think something is wrong.
Best bet, run your credit as little as possible.

i have a visa card fom my bank with a limit of 500 dollars i applieed for a platinum credit card and got denied my credit score is 650 in march. is there any ways to help me get a plantinum card by next month or should i wait another 6 months.

I have several negative items on my credit report that will expire after the 7-year limit next year (2002 was a wild one!). I have paid some and others are still on there as collection or charge-off. I have nothing negative since 2002 but I have a lot of student loans in repayment and no active credit cards. How many points can I expect my credit score to rise once the last negative items expire?
